Ballistic AE (FTE) just introduced what I think is going to be a game changer in terms of ballistics apps, Multiple wind entries:
You can now enter multiple wind speeds and angles at different ranges and it will calculate a solution for you. This has been one thing I think has been lacking from ballistics software for a while.

Have you tried changing the settings in the iphone settings folder? Try the save state toggle if this is what you mean. If not try contacting the developer, he is usually very quick to respond to problems:
